[accordion title=”ABSTRACT”]Virtual reality is the modern and developing computer technology, through which – by combining elements of reality and fiction – the responsive environment is created. Therefore it finds its use in both practical and scientific fields. The aim of this study was to test whether staying in virtual environment for a short period of time (2m43s) exercises influence on the sense of anxiety as a state in the persons under study. 60 students were examined by being presented a short movie via goggles Gear VR and smartphone LG X cam (in the control condition), after which the sense of anxiety as a state was measured by means of STAI (x-1 scale). No differences among groups were found. In the course of the study possible explanations and theoretical implications of the results are discussed and suggestions for further directions of the research are indicated. [/accordion]
